Shipping policy

1. GENERAL
Subject to stock availability. We strive to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but from time to time there may be stock discrepancies, and we may not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase. In this case, we will fulfill the available products and contact you about whether you would prefer to wait for the backordered item to be restocked or if you would prefer a refund.
2. SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for the shipping cost to the customer.
3. RETURNS
3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind
Toy Box Barnsley Market will happily accept returns due to a change of mind as long as the return request is received within 30 days of receipt of the item. The item must be returned in original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition.
Return shipping will be at the customer’s expense, and customers must arrange their own shipping.
Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed as Toy Box Barnsley Market credit for a future purchase. We will notify you via email once this has been completed.
Toy Box Barnsley Market will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund any shipping costs paid.
3.2 Warranty Returns
Toy Box Barnsley Market will honor valid warranty claims provided a claim is submitted within 90 days of receipt of the items.
Customers will be required to prepay the return shipping; however, we will reimburse you upon a successful warranty claim.

4. DELIVERY TERMS
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, our handling time is 1-3 business days.
- Economy: 5 to 8 business days (free)
- Standard: 3 to 4 business days (£15)
4.2 Transit Time Internationally
We currently do not offer international services.
4.3 Dispatch Time
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays. In these instances, we strive to minimize shipment delays.
4.4 Change of Delivery Address
We can change the delivery address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
Toy Box Barnsley Market will ship to P.O. Box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer courier services to these locations.
4.6 Military Address Shipping
We can ship to military addresses using USPS. Courier services are not available for military addresses.
4.7 Items Out of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock.
4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded
If the delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so we can investigate.
5. TRACKING NOTIFICATIONS
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link that allows you to follow the progress of your shipment based on updates from the shipping provider.
6. PARCELS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If you find that a parcel is damaged during transit, please reject the parcel from the courier, if possible, and contact our customer service team. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service for next steps.
7. DUTIES & TAXES
7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website.
7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may apply upon arrival in the destination country. These duties and taxes vary by country, and Toy Box Barnsley Market encourages customers to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
If you refuse to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination, the goods will be returned to Toy Box Barnsley Market at the customer’s expense. The customer will receive a refund for the value of the goods, minus the return shipping cost. The initial shipping cost will not be refunded.
8. CANCELLATIONS
If you change your mind before receiving your order, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If the order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
9. INSURANCE
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

We will process a refund or replacement once the courier completes their investigation into the claim.
9.2 Process for Parcel Lost in Transit
We will process a refund or replacement once the courier conducts their investigation and deems the parcel lost.
